Butterfly curtains are used when there is a risk that the injected parts can fall out of the injection moulding machine and the use of a side safety curtain is not possible due to tube connections. The ejected parts are collected laterally and collapse into a collecting funnel, a collecting bath or directly onto a conveyor belt or into a container.
